The Salicylic acid removes dead cells from the face while tightening the pores, hence they make excellent facemask. Blend some natural yogurt with a handful of strawberries and apply the mixture onto your face. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse well.

Strawberry juice has skin lightening properties also. They are effective in removing age spots and freckles. Squeeze some juice and apply over blemishes with a cotton ball. Rinse off after 10 minutes. You will notice the blemishes get lighter after a few tries.

Strawberries make an excellent foot scrub. Mash a handful of strawberries and mix them with a few drops of glycerine and grounded oats. Scrub your foot gently with this mixture to exfoliate dead cells and rough skin.

It contains a high percentage of esters (linalyl acetate), and therefore, offers anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. Use Lavender oil if you are experiencing tension headache.

  • If you have eczema on the feet. Try soaking your feet in a tub of warm water and add a few drops of witch hazel. The warm water will improve blood circulation on the feet while the witch hazel will reduce any inflammation.
